Cecil died on 15th September 2007 aged 78 years,he was a joiner by trade and worked all over the place,traveling the world.He had many friends,and was a true friend. Married to Marie for 53 years they had a son Dave & daughter Paula,they had 5 grandchildren & 1 great grandson.
He suffered a severe stroke nearly 3 years ago but died of cancer.
A truly great man, who is missed every day, a stubborn & determined man who wouldn't give in to the cruelty of his stroke. You left us with loads of happy memories dad, and I know your with us every day.

Hi dad,4years tomorrow since you had your stroke just seems like yesterday,I can remember it so clearly.Hope your ok up there and keeping everyone safe.Mam's doing fine she can move her leg a bit,and she goes to a speech therapy class on a Friday afternoon,she has her up and down days, but don't we all.Hope the weather isn't bad this week and I'll try to get her out somewhere.Thinking of you always.Lots of love.XXXX
Dave came home off holidays to be told mam is in hospital with pneumonia,she seems to be ok but you can't tell with this.He needs another op nearly didn't get on holiday.Alan's moved to his new flat.Gareth & Carly seem to be sorted & he's started his new job.Liam's still courting & waiting to be signed off on his Level 2,we'll be job hunting for him.Loz is looking for part-time work to fit around 6th form.We just seem to get sorted when BANG something else happens,suppose that's life.Well sleep peacefully dad.Love alwaysXXXX
Hi dad,well 1 year passed,where has it gone,seems like yesterday.Mam's doing ok ,me & Dave took her to cemetery yesterday.Loz has started 6th form,Gaza & Carly are back together & hopefully his new job starts next week.Liam's doing ok he's happy with Brooke.Dave's busy painting Al's new flat.They all go on their hols this week,taking Taylor with them,should be fun as he's a bit jealous of Charlie,he even wants to wear Charlies eye patches.Keep everyone safe & rest peacefully.Thinking of you every day,how can I not when your in the sitting room.Lots of love foreverXXXX

Hi ya,mam's ok,she tries to stay happy,but I know she's missing you,who could of imagined we'd end up in this situation.Dave's had to have another op hopefully this will sort him,thankfully the cancer hasn't spread,great news for a change.Loz is sitting her exams,Liam's working and has a new girlfriend he's been alot happier and Gaza's trying to cope with everything,trying to help but you know what he's like,can't sit still for a minute.If you've met Sam tell her to give Carly a sign that she's with her,can't imagine the pain she's feeling,you help if you can.Well off to make the tea.Lots of love from us all.xxxx
I long time since i've spoke to you on here,but thinking of you always,just yesterday i sat in the garden & thought of the last walk i took you on,just seemed like yesterday i can see you so clearly.Dave's having problems after his op.Mam's good at the minute try to get her out but that wheel chair kills me back,can't wait till we get the battery one,hopefully before the summers over.Charlie's doing got his lense fitted. Everyone's away out,so i'm off to see mam.Love foreverxxx
